William (Bill) was born in Oakland, Ca. to Carl and Verland Bowen. He had one brother, Howard, who predeceased him, and is survived by his sister, Peg Barkin. After growing up in Oakland, he attended the University of Kan Read Obituary
Mr. B was the coolest. We first met back in 1986 when I was in junior high. When I would hang with his daughter, he would always welcome me with a great smile. He never judged my intake of his wife's fabulous chocolate chip cookies. Also, he had the best laugh. Thank you Mr. B for being an amazing father and friend to all of us. You'll be missed.
I first meet you February of this year. Bill you were always so kind, polite. Bill you were a true gentleman. I enjoyed coming being with you.
I remember on time I came & when I was leaving you kiss my hand and said thank you for coming & please come again.
