Dear Lauren,It is so obvious that you got your love for cooking from your grandmother and you look so much like her, so pretty. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. David and I love you and Jesse and Lindsay very much.##imported-begin##Vickey Dooley##imported-end##

I am lucky enough to have Virginia and Frank as my godparents and to I lived next door to them for years. Virginia was much more than a godmother to me. She was a friend, a big sister, a mother, a mentor and a guide. I could talk to her about anything and she always supported me. She cared enough to tell me when I was wrong too!!Virginia gave all of us kids an example to live by. I realized the meaning of true strength when I saw all of the physical challenges she faced, which she did so gracefully. I will miss Virginia but I have the knowledge of what she was to me and that will never go away. My thoughts go out to all the family.Laura MedinaBremerton, WA##imported-begin##Laura Medina##imported-end##

Aunt Virginia was a loving person who always took the time to ask how you were when there was a family event. She was genuine with her love and was a fabulous cook. I regret that there are many miles between us and I cannot come to say goodbye. May God bless the family and put his loving arms around those who are left to grieve.##imported-begin##Ruth Ann Ramos Criner##imported-end##
I will never forget how loving a person Virginia was or how much she cared for family – whether you were born into the family or married into it. From the beginning she welcomed me into the family, accepted me for who I was, and made me feel that I belonged. Even though John and I eventually divorced, I still loved her and felt loved by her. I got to visit with her a few times over the years and thought of her often with great fondness. She was a strong woman and I admired her for the way she faced life and its challenges. I will miss her deeply and my most sincere condolences go out to her entire family.##imported-begin##Kristin Williams##imported-end##
My grandma gave me the love to share food and desserts with family & friends at very young age. Birthdays & holidays where just not small in anyways but big, lot’s, lot’s of food! You could taste the love she put into every dish! I was that lucky little girl asking for my favorites and getting them! In addition to her passion for cooking, my grandma gave me strong & positive words to help me through the hardest of times even herself when she was not well. I “LOVE” YOU Grandma & I will “MISS YOU” much!! xoxox Lauren##imported-begin##Lauren##imported-end##
