Viggo M. Riddersholm's Obituary
Our dear friend/family Viggo Riddersholm passed on December 25, 2016 in his home in San Mateo CA. Viggo was born April 12, 1925 in SøndergÃ¥rd Jylland, Denmark to Henrik and Petrea Riddersholm. Viggo took his education in Denmark as a machinist. In the 50th Viggo sailed with Ã?K to further his education. Viggo’s passion was old cars and planes and he restored 3 cars over the years. He retired as a career machinist from United Airlines in 1985. Viggo had a quiet sense of humor, a stand up and honest character, and a sharp business sense, all of which he openly and gladly shared. He was truly a self made man, a positive and gentle spirit, and he respected and appreciated anyone he met. Viggo is survived by nieces and nephews living in Denmark, Australia and the USA as well as many friends. A small private funeral service will be held at Skylawn in San Mateo on Friday January 6, 2017 at 12PM A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, time and place, soon to be disclosed.
