Victoria Virginia Gonzales Calderon's Obituary
Victoria Virginia beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 74, after a brief illness.
Born on December 23, 1950 in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Victoria was one of ten siblings and is survived by five two brothers and three sisters. She dedicated her early years to education and served as a devoted school librarian at MMSU Batac and Dingras, where she was affectionately known as “Ma’am Vicky,” cherished by students for her gentle kindness and quiet strength.
In 1976, she married Arturo with whom she built a life grounded in love, faith, and service to family. Together, they spent most of their married years in Ilocos before eventually immigrating to the United States in 2001. Victoria embraced her role as a caregiver with deep devotion, pouring her energy into nurturing her only daughter Anna, her son-in-law, Jhing and later, her treasured grandchildren, zyann and shaughn.
Victoria will be remembered as the “silent type,” soft-spoken but steadfastly caring. Her greatest joy came from her family, whom she loved unconditionally, and from simple pleasures like cooking her favorite dishes particularly lumpia and vegetable recipes that became family highlights at gatherings.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna, her husband jhing, their children zyann and shaughn, as well as five loving siblings.
Victoria’s legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to family lives on through those who were blessed to know her.
