Though we did not stay in touch, I have very fond memories of Victor during our time together at Cal. I always laugh when I remember how much he loved I.B. Hoagies when the shop opened on Durant Avenue; he claimed that he needed a cheese steak every night to sleep well. He was one of the most sincere people I have ever known.
