Roy was a close friend of our family and was one of my favorite people growing up. When we would visit them at their cabin in the Santa Cruz mountains when I was a little kid, he would let me sit on his lap in the car and taught me how to drive. He also would give me all the beef jerkey that I wanted. Always kind and always cool, he was always someone I looked up to, he will be deeply missed.
