Rick (Henry) Urrutia, III died peacefully on August 27, 2013 after a courageous battle with Myelofibrosis. Rick was the loving husband of Barbara Wolfston Urrutia, proud father of David Dees Urrutia from San Mateo, dear brother of Read Obituary
Our thoughts and prayers are with Rick’s family as you begin this new chapter. Rick was always extremely optimistic in everything he did, personally and with his business ventures, his optimism and effervescent smile touched everyone! He is missed by so many, his memories will never fade, we all have those to hold close in our hearts. We are thankful for the time we had with Rick and Barbie, we shared some great fun. I’ll never forget Rick’s desire to succeed, but to also help the younger generation of sales professionals. He was a relentless sales talent – a great planner with strong product knowledge, boundless energy, and the necessary drive to survive and prosper in a very competitive business climate. And yet Rick never forgot who he was – he always made time to catch up with his employees and suppliers, figure out how to improve a customer’s jump shot, or scheme to create a better way to present products. The consummate businessman, Rick was also the consummate gentleman. He will be missed.
