Beverly Adams Score
I was very sorry to hear of David’s passing. He graduated from HS with my sister Eva Adams Johnson. We lived close to the Myhre farm and have many memories of neighborhood gatherings, and church and school functions we all attended. One summer I recall that Alma had a bumper crop of green peas in her garden. That was when freezing vegetables had come into being. She hired me to spend a whole day shelling peas for her as she prepared them for the freezer. David had the back breaking job of bending over the vines and picking them under a blistering sun. I felt I had the best of that deal, plus I earned a dollar, besides! Big money for me in those days. I have a grandson, Jason, who is now in his twenties, but still recalls that Eva once told him of going to school with the man who worked on the Pringles chips. He was so impressed! He does like those Pringles! My sincere condolences to your whole family.
