Dear Nonno, I miss you and all the fun we had together. You always had a way of making me laugh with your witty remarks that all the Bonanni men seemed to inherit. Thank you for teaching me how to garden and make the best pasta sauce (never add sugar, add peppers). I know that you missed Nonna so much that you just had to be with her. I am just happy that you two are back together creating another house with another beautiful garden waiting for the rest of us to join you in Sunday night dinners. Sending prayers and hugs to the family. The Bonanni brothers are reunited again and I’m sure there is much celebrating in heaven. Unfortunately we will be out of state for the funeral but our hearts will be with you. Zio Mario is resting with Zia Anges and the angels and may those angels send peace and comfort to the family.
