I just found this. Miss McKinley (as she was then) taught home economics in Ypsilanti, Michigan and I was in her 8th grade class where we learned to cook and sew. I saw her several times after that long after I was in college. She was the most patient teacher and nicest person! I am old(ish) now and will always remember her very fondly. -- Carole Jackson
Linda was an awesome person, delightful and wonderful aunt to me. Linda was so thoughtful and caring, she always asked me how I was doing and was genuinely interested in my life. I was so blessed to have her in my life and will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.

She was one of my favorite teachers at Roosevelt (class of 1969).
I loved her class. She gave me life skills that I needed and even though our time together was short I thought of her often. I have no idea why how to clean a stainless sink stuck with me all these years but every time I do it I fondly remember her . She was always cheerful and the class went fast .
We need more people in the world that are just inherently good people. I will cherish her memory
