Leslie J. McGee, 46, of Woodland, Calif., died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, after a courageous eight-month battle with glioblastoma. He was born Dec. 20, 1974, in Pittsburgh, to Margie Myers McGee Artman and the late Martin McGee. H Read Obituary
I am so sorry to learn of Les' passing. I worked with Les at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, as a consultant to him and to help him prepare for career advancement. I came to know Leslie as a good, soft-spoken man of clear vision, ability, humor, compassion, and with a genuine desire to help. He made a difference. His passing from this life, especially at such a young age, is a loss to all who knew him. My prayers for Les and for his family, with my condolences. Joseph Ramos
Les was one of the best leaders I've had the privilege to work with. He was my direct lead for 3 years at Kaiser San Francisco, and was always supportive, creative at finding solutions for complex issues, down to earth, knowledgeable and funny!
He had confidence in me for a leadership role which allowed me to grow personally and professionally.
My heart aches from his much too early departure at such a young age, and I deeply miss this wonderful man, a beautiful soul. Condolences and love to his family and friends, his death is also an enormous loss to Kaiser, all the patients and staff who he cared for so well. An amazing human being and nurse is lost to us.
I had the privilege to work with Les for years. He was a wonderful mentor and a advocate for those in need of the watchful care of others. He was a person of great integrity and compassion. We are all better for having known him. He will be truly missed.

Les was a great partner and an even better advocate for our residents and patients. He was honest, dedicated, knowledgeable, and dependable.
