A bright smile, a great laugh, a love of family, all of these things were Aunt Jennifer. She was a wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, SIster, Aunt and friend and to me she was also my cheerleader. As we both dealt with cancer issues she was always there to give me advice and constant words of encouragement. When I updated my caringbridge site she was always the first one to respond. She understood what was truly important and helped me keep that as my focus. When I was diagnosed with cancer I received this poem from a friend and it reminded me of Aunt Jennifer and how she handled her life over the past five years. What Cancer Cannot Do It cannot cripple love It cannot shatter hope It cannot corrode faith It cannot eat away peace It cannot destroy confidence It cannot kill friendships It cannot shut out memories It cannot silence courage It cannot reduce eternal life It cannot quench the spirit. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.##imported-begin##Kathy O'Beirne##imported-end##
