Some people come into our lives and leave footprints in our hearts forever.
I had the privilege of meeting Jedy and Jean 8 years ago when I became one of their caregivers. What started as caregiving became a beautiful bond that I will forever treasure.
Jedy, treated me and my children like family, and I will never forget the simple moments we shared — lunches together, coffee and donut dates, long conversations, laughter, and prayers.
His words and prayers touched so many lives, including mine. I will always be grateful for every thoughtful message, every prayer, every smile, and every moment he made us feel loved and cared for.
One of the most beautiful things to witness was the love he shared with Jean, the love of his life forever. Spending time with them together, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying each other’s company, created memories that will forever stay in our hearts. Their love and devotion to one another was truly inspiring.
Thank you for reminding us to trust the Lord, choose gratitude, and live with kindness and love. Your beautiful spirit and faith will remain in our hearts forever.

I believe God brought us together 59 years ago and made us more than friends — true brothers. You were my mentor, you stood by me through thick and thin with a love that never wavered. I miss you every day, but I smile (and sometimes shed a tearful laugh) knowing you’re up in heaven giving the angels your best Don Rickles-style compliments.

I haven't seen Jedy in a long time and I am sad for that. What I will always remember? His infectious laughter and wicked sense of humor. Jedy and Jean were the first "adults" I knew who were so freely funny, joyful, and playful. He was a joy. I still have a simple gold necklace with a gold dove that they gave to me when I graduated High School in 1982. As a late addition to the family (my dad had just married Josephine a few years ago), I was not expecting anything from Jean and Jedy. The necklace and dove came with a note -- "It is time for you to fly" (or something like that, its been a few decades!) What a wonderful message to a young woman who had had a very strict upbringing. Much love to you, Jean.
