James “JIM” E. Morrison of Magalia Ca. passed away peacefully at his home on May 17, 2017 at 9:00amJim was born Jan. 20, 1949 in Palo Alto Ca. to his parents Dale and Sally Morrison.Jim was raised in Redwood CityAttended Sequoia High School. Aug 1, 1967 Jim enlisted into the U.S. Army, Feb.21, 1968 was sent to South Korea DMZ for 12 months. July 1969 he was sent to Viet Nam where he served 12 months, July 21, 1970 Jim received honorable discharge from U.S.ArmyJim always had a passion for fast classic Chevy’s and loud motorcycles. Some of the classic’s Jim owned were 55 Bel Air, 65 Cheville, 69 Z28 Camaro and his 72 Cheville. Jim’s first motorcycle was a 68 Triumph 650 TT special, and later in life Jim enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Fat Boy. Jim is survived by his daughter Rachel Morrison and his grandson Christian of Redwood City.Jim will be missed by his Father Dale Morrison of Redwood City Ca. and will also be missed by his brother Jeff Morrison and family of Sebastopol Ca., along with his cousin’s Larry Ferretti and Debbie Cates of Redwood City Ca. and his many friendsJim was preceded in death by his wife Dana who passed away June 9, 2015. Also by his mother Sally and brother DaveA funeral service with Military honors and placement of Jim and Dana’s urn will be held on Friday August 4, 2017 12:30pm at Skylawn Memorial Park Hwy 92 San Mateo, Ca.Any Donations may be made to Enloe Hospice Chico, Ca.
