Mrs. Gloria Jean Welton's Obituary
Gloria Jean Welton, 93, of San Mateo, California, passed on July 16, 2022. She was born to Mario Trinchero and Josephine Trinchero in San Francisco, California on July 25, 1928.
She married Donn Welton in 1970 and they lived together in San Mateo, California. From her previous marriage to John Orecchia , she has 4 surviving children: Paul Orecchia of Edina, Minnesota (Mary), Joyce Orecchia of Santa Rosa, CA, Ricardo Orecchia of Belmont, CA (Vickie), JB Orecchia of Pleasanton, CA (Debbie). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Gloria graduated from San Mateo High School in 1945.
Gloria worked at Pinebrook Inn as a waitress for 18 years and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the Retinitis Pigmentosa Bay Area Chapter as Activities Director.
Gloria will be greatly missed by family members and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Hwy 92 @ Rte 35, San Mateo, CA with the interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Retinitis Pigmentosa Association: https://give.fightingblindness.org/GloriaWelton
