Scott Decker
We lost a good man a few days ago. A rare man who was not only very smart but also possessed an uncommon amount of common sense. Our conversations were always pleasant, honest, and filled with his wisdom whether we were riding in my truck, sitting in his garage or fixing the latest minor household calamity. After covering current events and local news, talk would often turn to Fritz’s colorful life history but ultimately would conclude with Fritz talking about his children. I can not begin to tell you how proud your father was of all of you and your accomplishments. When I drive by his house now I feel an emptiness. We have lost a good man. I consider myself very fortunate to have met him and I will miss him. Rest in peace, my friend. Sincerely, and with condolence, Scott and Ellen Decker
