As a child she had a fondness for animals and continued that love with the animals that she cared for, including her current companion Si’i, which adored her and was always by her side.On September 3rd, 1966, Pua married Samuela Alusa. They met while Pua attended the Church College of Hawai’i, now BYU-Hawai’i, and fell in love. Pua was the epitome of a doting wife, always taking care of Sam. Soon after, they moved to San Mateo, California and set up their roots. Pua invited Salote, her first bundle of joy and then Samuela Jr., her second bundle of joy, into the world. She was an amazing and loving wife and mom. While raising her children, Pua also worked as a manager for the airline industry and was an active member of her church, the Latter Day Saints.Pua was the kindest, most caring, selfless person someone could know. She had an infectious smile that would light up the room. She was very generous and always had your best interest at heart. She would always go above and beyond to help someone else.
