Essie D. has been a part of the Waller Family of Corsicana, Texas, over 70 years. Essie D. and my sister, Imogene Waller Harp were friends for 60 years. Essie D. had one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. God blessed her with this gift and she sang to the glory of God whenever asked. She has joined the Heavenly Choir and she and Imogene are together again to sing God’s Praises forever. What a day of rejoicing for our Families.

To Buttons, “Prue”, Zippy, and Brenda, The Bible says that we are to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn (Romans 12:15). Having rejoiced on so many occasions with Essie D. and family we now share in your loss. While knowing that we who die in Christ will spend and eternity in His presence. In view of that’ ” we look not at what is seen but what is unseen, for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (I Corinthians 4:18). Just saying that “Essie D. is in a better place” is much more than just a cliche: for it is God’s promise to His people! I am to going to miss Aunt Essie D. I’ve loved her all my life and thought she was a great Aunt to me, very kind and sweet. She always gave good advice with a gentle way of words.
