Gary Schneider
Its been almost 13 yrs so I may be writing this to myself. Ed Palmer gave me a job when I was 16. I was the third Gary (Schneider), after Gary Matteucci and Gary Palmer, so I became known as little Gary. I ran his warehouse for 4 yrs and learned how to drive a tractor/trailer. I had no experience driving a rig except what I had seen other drivers do. One day Ed came out to the warehouse and told me to jump in the three axle cab over, run to the lot and get the 20 ft container of marble and put it in the dock. At that moment, I can honestly say that Ed had way more faith in me than I ever had in myself. Well in took me about 45 min to get it docked straight but I didn't hit anything. So Ed had me moving around 27's and 45's regularly.lol I liked Ed and he liked me. I worked my ass off for him just over 4 yrs and he was really good to me. I liked our crew and the man I worked for. So many good memories.
PS: Hi Jordan, I don't know if you remember me, but I used to carry you around the warehouse or go look at birds nests in the front shrubs sometimes when something needed your dads attention. I hope life has been kind to you. And hello, Nancy!
