Celebrating the Life of David Irvin KellerDavid Irvin Keller was born on February 6th, 1956 in San Francisco, California. He was a life-long resident of South San Francisco. He graduated from El Camino High School in 1974. After graduation, he did a handful of odd jobs before obtaining his contractor’s license and starting his own painting company, Keller’s Painting and Decorating Service. In 1990, he painted his future mother-in-law’s home, where he met the love of his life, Tammy Benjamin. They were married in 1992. Five years later they welcomed their daughter, Amber Lynn, into their lives and she became the light of David’s life. David was an active member of the community; a long-standing member and past president of the San Bruno Lion’s Club, a lively member of the Oyster Point Yacht Club, and a part of various other volunteer groups in South City. Dave had a love for water. From the beaches of Cabo San Lucas to the coves at Lake Berryessa, he spent his free time with family boating and fishing. David is survived by his wife, Tammy, and his daughter, Amber. As well as, his stepdaughter, Jacquelyn, son-in-law, Brett, and granddaughters, Joleene and Payton. Dave will also be missed by his siblings; Linda, Bob, and Tom, and his aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Epson and Virginia Frances Keller. Services will be held Saturday, January 23rd, 2015 at 10:30am at Skylawn Memorial Park. Reception to follow.
