Darlene Murphy-Born in Welland, Ontario on January 14, 1951-Parents: Stephen and Rose Dudor -Sister to Patsy, Betty and Cindy -Mother to two daughters: Jenny and Erin -One granddaughter: Samantha who is 20 months-Personality traits: Loving mother, sister and friend, always puts others first, private, organized, funny, simple-Education: Attended Notre Dame High School in Welland, Ontario and earned an Associates Degree in Nursing from St Joseph’s in Hamilton, Ontario.-Occupation: Registered Nurse. Began working at Stanford Hospital shortly after moving to California from Toronto, Canada in 1978 and retired 35 years later as the Night Nursing Supervisor. She loved being a nurse so much and cherished the years she had at Stanford. She made many incredible friends throughout her nursing career.-Interests/Hobbies: Bowled on a league for over 30 years and participated in many competitions. She maintained a high average and loved her red bowling ball. In her spare time at home she loved to knit and crochet and has made many beautiful items such as ornaments, slippers, blankets, and countless other items. She looked forward to entering her projects into the San Mateo County Fair each year.-Music: Loves Neil Diamond-TV programs: Loves watching Survivor, Amazing Race, CSI, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and recently even started watching hockey gamesIn lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.copdfoundation.org
