Grover Ledford
While in High School at Galileo I worked for Al at his Bay Street Station and the Turk St. Garage. Later, while stationed at Hamilton Field in the Air Force I worked at the Van Ness Street station. AL provided me with a great experience working for him and I picked up a lot of mechanical skills there. These were valuable skills in the Air Force and later, in my 30 year career with IBM. I can thank Al for that great foundation. He and his other employees, especially Frank Yim , really looked out for me and helped me a lot. Thanks AL, rest in peace. Love, Grover
