Abby was not only my college roommate, he was like a brother to me.
We stayed in touch with each other frequently by phone and on occasion even visited in New York and at our house in Colorado. His visits were always with his loving wife, Ashraf. I will always remember the good times we had as students at State University at Farmingdale, especially when Abby was working in the cafeteria, he made sure I had an extra helping of what was especially good for lunch or dinner. Especially desserts. I will miss him and truly love him like a brother.
