David Moises Sanchez
May 7, 1962 - October 4, 2020
We bid farewell for now ….. David Sanchez, 58, a lifelong resident of San Jose, unexpectedly left us on Sunday October 4, 2020 while in the company of his beloved wife, Veronica. David attended Independence High School, after which he began a 37-year career in printed circuit board layout design. David last worked at Paramit Corporate for 8 years. David was best known for his infectious smile. A big hearted, respectful and positive man, he could be anyone’s best friend. David enjoyed life. He was a skilled craftsman, a golfer, and a world traveler. He enjoyed traveling to experience new cultures, food, and art. Connoisseur of finer things in life, he loved his wine, cigars, charcuterie, trendy footwear, gadgets, and so much more. As a wine educator, David taught novices everything about wine and loved challenging their palates. If you asked him what he thought the wine tasted like, he would never tell you what he thought, instead, he would help you describe what you are tasting. An avid renovator, he made his kids watch “This Old House” instead of Saturday morning cartoons. He was truly passionate about every project he set out to do. His creativity was unleashed and expressed through his home, inside and out. Always trying to figure out the best way to proceed, he would think about the projects all hours of the day and night. After a thousand iterations, he would know exactly what to do, how to do it, and it would be done perfectly. A devoted and loving husband, son, father and brother, David is survived by his wife Veronica, his mother Mary Sanchez, his children Nicholas Sanchez and Natalie Geiger, his sister Yvonne Wellwood and his brother Greg Sanchez. Till we meet again. Please post comments and photos to share your experience with David. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider making a donation to the American Heart Association.
