鍾子雄先生生於1915年11月6號，在培英中學就讀，屬於方社，繼在中山大學畢業，結交了很多培英和中大的畢生好友。在第二次世界大戰的時候到香港，在鍾照記建築公司任總建築師，於1950年與陳恵蘭女士結婚，有子文傑，女文瞐, 女婿余庭光和外孫余智恒。鍾先生在1976年移民美國。在三藩市居住，常常一家出外旅遊，到過加勒比海，曾經架車橫跨美國，又環遊中國。他愛運動， 幾乎每天都走動於唐人街， 直到95歲才停止， 最後在2014年10月16號安詳離世。享年一百零二歲。
