Yun Chang's Obituary
Yun Chang (張允先生), 87, of San Ramon, California passed away peacefully on July 8, 2014.Yun Chang was born in Nan Tong, Jiang Su Province of China on April 24, 1928. He received a BA in business administration from National Taiwan University in 1959. He was married to Li-Ming Tseng on May 15, 1960; they were married for 54 years.Yun worked as a teacher and a manger of the teaching shop in a business school in Chia-Yi Taiwan, Republic of China. A devoted teacher, he retired after 30 years of service. Yun was extremely devoted to his students. His loving and caring personality brought trust and joy to all the friends and family around him. Yun was a member of the Grace Elderly group of Danville Chinese Bible Church.Yun is survived by wife Li-Ming, son Shing-I, daughter-in-law Chih-Ching, son Michael Hsin-Ter, daughter-in-law Grace Chia-Chian, and granddaughters Michelle Jerann, Rachel Jerning, and Allison Jihanne.A celebration of Yun’s life will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Highway 92 at Skyline Blvd., San Mateo. Burial will follow the celebration service.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donation be made to Danville Chinese Bible Church (DCBC) at 2278 Camino Ramon, San Ramon, CA 94583. The money will support DCBC’s mission to reach out Chinese elderly community in San Ramon and neighboring areas.
