Yit Yee Kung, devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2021. He was 94 years old and he celebrated his 95th birthday in heaven 11 days later. H Read Obituary
Uncle Yee was friendly, kind, easy to talk to and very compassionate. He often come by my parents’ townhouse in Stockton when we were in town. We reminisced about the time we were in Hong Kong when he took his nephew and me to the amusement park where we spent all day and have great fun together. We appreciated all his outstanding cooking at our wedding banquet at the Islander, as well as all the other banquets at his restaurant in Stockton. He loves his daily walk, talking to friends and relatives, always happy and with a big smile. We pray that Almighty God will remember him. We will miss him very much. Bill and Marilyn Wong
We have warm memories of the times we spent with Mr. Kung at his home, traveling in Hawaii, and touring China. He loved telling us stories of his youth and his adventures, we had a lot fun together . We will miss his warm smile and his familiar greeting "Have you eaten yet?" every time we see him. Mr. Kung will always have a special place in our hearts.
