In Memory of Loving Mother-Ying Yu1928-2014Ying Yu was born on November 21, 1928 in Fong Chuan Guangzhou, Canton China. She was the ninth sibling of a big family.Ying married to late Lun CHen when she was 17 years old after three dates together. She was happily married for more than 62 years. Ying Yu had four children, Willing Chan, Roger Chan, Stephanie Chan, and late Henry Chen.Taking good care of the children was Ying’s first priority. Ying hand been greatly endorsed by all children for her act of family value. She was caring, independent, appreciative, accommodating, neat, and frugal. After immigrating to the United States, she worked hard and lived in her comfortable home on Fulton Street, San Francsico for many years. She adapted to the new environment gradually and bonded well with her relatives and friends.Ying had a fulfilling life and passed away peacefully on March 26, 2014 with her loving children surrounding her. She will always be remembered for her lifelong contributions to the family. The children and family are so proud to have a responsible and strong mother like her. Her love and beauty will forever remain in our hearts.Services will be held in her honor at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA.
