Yee Ho Kong's Obituary
Yee Ho Kong (江汝河)
December 26, 1933 – April 26, 2026
Yee Ho Kong passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 92.
Born in China, Yee Ho lived a life defined by resilience, discipline, and quiet devotion to his family. In 1982, with courage and determination, he immigrated to the United States with his wife and three daughters in search of greater opportunity, leaving behind an established life and career to begin again in a new country.
A civil engineer by training, Yee Ho was also a lifelong learner, artist, and self-taught violinist whose curiosity and intellect remained with him throughout his life. He was thoughtful, even-tempered, deeply self-sufficient, and rarely sought recognition for the many ways he cared for those around him.
His love was expressed not through grand gestures, but through steady acts of service—providing for his family, solving problems, fixing what was broken, and showing up reliably whenever he was needed.
He leaves behind a legacy of humility, perseverance, sacrifice, and unwavering love. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, sharp mind, gentle presence, and the enduring example he set through how he lived.
Yee Ho is survived by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family, who will carry his memory forward with deep love and gratitude.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Skylawn Memorial Home in Half Moon Bay, California.
