Xingan Wang's Obituary
Mr. Xingan Wang, age 73, passed away in El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, after a long fight with cancer.Born on January 13, 1940 in Kunming, China, he was the son of Ken Wang and Jianqu Chen. He came to the US for his Ph.D in 1989 and has resided here since.Intelligent, disciplined, honest and kind, Xingan was loved and respected by all who came across his path. As an expert in the field of thermal engineering, he made great contributions through his teaching and research. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, traveling and listening to classical music.He is survived by his wife Zizhen, daughter Jan, son-in-law Mark, grandson Christopher and daughter Donni.Services in Xingan’s honor will be held at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park in San Mateo, California on Saturday, November 9th 2013.
