Xing Li Zhang's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Xing Li Zhang:Xing Li Zhang was born on the 5th of October, 1933 in Shanghai, China to loving parents, Ning Feng Chen and Rui Liang Zhang. With 4 younger brothers and 4 younger sisters, Xing Li was the oldest of 9 children. She studied at Qi Xiu Girl’s High School and loved education. For 50 years, she taught at Hui Ming Primary School.On the 11th of November, 1956, Xing Li married the love of her life, Ming Er Zhu. They had two children: Julia and Kelson. Xing Li and her family moved to the United States of America in 1991.Xing Li was an active member in her community. She became a member of the Shean Mih Yuan Tung Buddhist Temple. At her Senior Center, she enjoyed participating in all of its activities such as dancing and especially karaoke. She also took classes at the City College of San Francisco. She excelled at English and earned an ESL level 8 Certificate.Unfortunately, pneumonia weakened her body, and Xing Li passed away on the 24th of December, 2015. She was surrounded by her loved ones in her final moments. She is survived by her loving husband, Ming Er Zhu, her 1st born Julia, her son Kelson, and her grandchildren Golden and Christopher; 3 younger brothers and 4 younger sisters.
