Xiaochun Yu's Obituary
On Monday, October 10, 2022, Jason Yu, loving husband and father, passed away at age 53 aftera hard-fought battle against colon cancer.Jason was born on January 31, 1969, to his mother, Liping Han, and his father, Yinglu Yu inJianshui, China. He received his degree in architecture from Tsinghua University in 1992 andworked as an architect for over 20 years in the California Bay Area. Jason had a passion fortennis, forming lifelong friendships with those he played with. He was an avid proponent ofhealthy living, almost never missing a day at the gym in 15 years no matter the circumstance.Jason was a man of his word, honoring all commitments he made no matter how small, andalways strove to be the best version of himself he could be.Jason was preceded in death by his mother Liping. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, her childKatherine, his two children Helen and Hanson, his sister Baili, and his father Yinglu.A funeral service will be held privately with close friends and family.
