Wing Wong's Obituary
My father, Wing Wong, he finished his B.S. from National Taiwan University. Was married from 1967 to 2024. He was a Mechanical Engineer for over 40 years. He took many trips from the mid-80's till when he retired in 2009.
If we had any problems with anything, he easily fixed it. He was the head of the household.'
His last hope was for me and my older brother to get along.
As for me, to work find a job. Sure it has not been easy and there are times when he didn't know why I worked so hard. Like attending job clubs several times in the past and also listening to the workshops online which has happened during the pandemic. Even on certain Saturday mornings. His hope that I would find something even the last weeks. I know that he is up there wanting for me to continue with the job search and get that job with my name on it. Dad up there: I will work on it. You can count on that.
If i had any problems, my brother would help me out. Whatever it was. It's why he helped me out these last few years. He told me about a job at his employer which was not posted yet. Yes, I landed it due to my excellent interview skills. Sure it was only for four months, but I did appreciate it.
It is why my Dad gave him ten thousand dollars in the last couple years.
I would think and hope that we can be even better siblings now that he is no longer here.
Finally, I know that you care deeply about me. And I will look out for me from up there.
We will miss you immensely.
