William Ho's Obituary
William Ho of Watsonville, California passed peacefully on May 21, 2015 at Washington Hospital at the age of 91. He was surrounded by his loving wife of nearly 70 years, Carol Ho, his 5 sons and their wives, Steven and Sarah Ho, Russell Ho and the late Jill Ho, Larry and Frances Ho, Elliott and Barbara Ho, and Charles and Isidora Ho, his 3 daughters, Jennifer Ho, Nora Ho and Barbara Han and son-in-law Lock Han. He leaves 12 grandchildren, Janet Ho, Kyle Mock, Megan Mock, Ryan Mock, Sarah Ho, Jon Ho, Karen Ho, Michelle Ho, Bryan Han, Jeffrey Han, Tyler Ho, and Cody Ho.Mr. Ho was a businessman and worked many years in the grocery business before his retirement in 1982. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, having served in the 331st Engineer Battalion and as a parachutist with the 11th Airborne Parachute Company in the Philippines and Japan. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Philippine Bronze Star Liberation Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal. Though he was proud of the service to his country and remained a member of the American Legion California Post 121, until his death, he was first and foremost, a loving husband, and a very proud father and grandfather. He will remain forever in our hearts.The family extends gratitude to the dedicated and caring staff of Washington Hospital in Fremont, California.
