William S. Field, Jr., aged 73, of Redwood City, CA died peacefully due to complications with myotonic dystrophy on May 5, 2018, surrounded by family.Bill was born in San Francisco, CA to William and Rose Field. He graduated from Heald Business College with a BA in Business Administration. Bill served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. He then followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the family cabinet-making business for 37 years.Bill will be remembered by his family and friends as a caring father and husband, lover of hunting, shooting, fishing, golfing, SF 49ers and Giants, and family gatherings.Loving husband of Carol, and father of Jennifer (Steve) Muñoz and Lori (Jay) Sutton. Proud grandfather of Raven Sutton. Further survived by brother Dennis (Barbara) Field and nephews Christopher (Cherise) Field and Jeffrey Field, and many other relatives and friends.A funeral will be held on May 10th at 2pm at Skylawn in San Mateo at Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd.Reception immediately following at Bill & Carol’s house at 1652 Virginia Avenue, Redwood City to celebrate Bill’s life.
