Wei Wei's Obituary
General Wei Wei passed away at age 96 on Friday, September 20 in South San Francisco, California. Gen. Wei was born on February 4, 1918 in Jiangsu Province, China. He graduated from Chinese Military Academy during WWII and served with distinct honor in WWII against Japan in China, civil war against Chinese communists. He retired as an army major general in Taiwan. Afterward, he served in Taiwan Provincial Government as the Deputy Secretary General for Governor of Taiwan. Later on, he served as a Deputy Minister in Dept. of Transportation & Communication in the central government of Republic of China. After retirement, he immigrated to San Francisco with his wife. Gen. Wei was a lifelong member of KMT party and remained active until his death.Gen. Wei was predeceased in death by his wife Chi-I and daughter Shiao-Mei. He is survived by sons, Kuang-Chung and Yar-Chung, daughter-in-law Wei-Zen, godchildren Bee-Yuie Sun, Eric Batts, grandsons John & Benjamin, granddaughter-in-law Carrie & Esther, great granddaughters Cassandra & Hayley.A memorial service will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, San Mateo, California.In lieu of flowers, should you wish to make a charitable donation in memory of Gen.
