Wayne D. Wargo (January 20, 1947 - April 26, 2023)
Wayne D. Wargo, a loving father, travel lover, and Air Force veteran, passed away on April 26, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of joy. He was born on January 20, 1947, in Ohio and later raised in North Hollywood, California. Wayne proudly served his country in the Air Force, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to his fellow servicemen and women. As a father, Wayne adored his two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie. He played an integral role in their lives, providing love, guidance, and support. Wayne's devotion to his family was immeasurable, and his impact on their lives will forever be treasured. He is also survived by his two grandchildren whom he always asked about and was incredibly proud of, Ayanna and Marcus. Wayne had a zest for life and a passion for adventure. Whether it was wandering through historic cities or relaxing on breathtaking beaches, Wayne embraced the wonders of the world with an open heart. In his downtime, Wayne found joy in books, passing on his love of certain authors. Music was another passion that resonated deeply within him, providing a soundtrack to his life's journey. Wayne will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a thirst for life that will continue to inspire those who carry his memory in their hearts. May his soul rest in peace, and may his spirit of exploration and joy forever guide us.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at the Antioch Community Center, West Island Room, 4703 Lone Tree Wy, Antioch, CA
