Walter C. Chen's Obituary
Walter (Wen Chieh) Chen, 75, passed away on October 17, 2025. His presence as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend will be deeply missed. Walter was born in Taiwan on April 20, 1950, and married Jiin Lan Chen in February 1976. He dedicated his life to providing a comfortable and stable home for his family. He worked in international trade and in in his retirement became an adept day trader and beloved yoga teacher. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, walking, eating sashimi, and finding ways to reuse and repurpose anything. While serious on the outside, anyone would be so lucky to experience his playful inner self. Walter is survived by his wife, Jiin, daughters, Amie and Tiffany, his son, Eddie, and two granddaughters. A celebration of Walter’s life will be held at the Skylawn Memorial Park at 888 Lifemark Road in Half Moon Bay on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at 9:30 AM. The family invites all who knew him to attend and share their favorite memories. Your presence and support are the greatest gifts during this time.
