Wallace A. Scott's Obituary
Scotty was the beloved husband of Dorothy Scott, pre-deceased by his first wife Felicina Accordini Scott, the loving father of Victor (Kathy), Kathleen Sirianni (Ron). He also leaves behind extended family of Richard Simkins (Joanne), Nancy Shaffer (Michael), grandchildren Andria Kokoszka (Adam), Eric Sessoms (Cege), Jennie Price (Jason), Ryan, Lee Shaffer, Lauren Janvier (Jeff), two great grandchildren Tyler and Graham, Scott and Kim Gordon.Scotty was born in Coraopolis, PA and raised on the Scott family farm. He entered the U.S. Army in 1943 and served during World War II in the European theater. Scotty made the Army his career and served tours in West Point, NY, two tours in Korea, Germany and at Letterman Hospital, San Francisco, CA. He retired in 1971 as a Master Sergeant. After leaving the Army he worked for Kaiser Hospital before retiring in 1984.Scotty was a very warm caring, generous person and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.A memorial service will be held at the Congregational Church of San Mateo, 225 Tilton Avenue, San Mateo, CA, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 26th, 2010.Memorial donations can be made to: American Cancer Research 1650 S.
