Vivian Hershey Sturken
Age 96 - born Aug 1923 in Houston, Tx.
She graduated from Sam Houston High and studied nursing after
worked in payroll and accounting for the San Francisco shipping and transportation industry during the War Effort.
She married Edward Sturken Nov 1948 and was a Resident of San Carlos since 1948.
Survived by 4 sons: Steven (Mari), David (Virgina), Alan (Gina), Joel (Jennifer) and predeceased by son Michael. Survived 7 grandchildren: Marco, Carlo.....Cinnamin, Ginger...... Christina, Christopher.... Sierra and 5 great grand children.
She was a devoted wife and loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Also was friendly and warm to everyone, friend or stranger. Was very
wise and discerning whether it be people or the world we live in. Loved reading and music.
She was very involved in many areas from beekeeping to education to much
world travel and primarily Christian activities and missions.
