It’s summer 2023 and on the 4th of July is when Vicki would have her sheltie romps at her house. How I miss those days.
Vicki, I went down memory lane today and watched several videos. There were so many shelties (around 50 of them) and they had so much fun. Some folks brought their collies, like we did with Lulu, and the collies joined in the fun as well. You always had such a wonderful food spread, Vicki, and Bob did a great job making the burgers! I think Manchester, Gracie, Bentley, and Lulu were their happiest when they went to your romp, and I think that is when you were your happiest too.
They say life is about family and friendships, and I am so glad that I met you and that we became friends. You were always so gracious, Vicki, and I wish you were still around.
I will always treasure the paintings you made of Gracie and of Manchester, and very much wish that this summer we could have shared another story and had another laugh. I miss you, dear friend….
