Vesna Dora Kogoj Stefanac of San Mateo, California, passed on peacefully at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born and raised in beautiful Croatia, became a teacher and taught in a small town near Zagreb. She married and moved to Pforzheim, Germany where she continued to teach and started a family. The family immigrated to San Mateo, California, built a family business and invested in real estate. She had a big, selfless heart and devoted her love and life in endless ways ... as a teacher, a wife, a mother, a friend. Those who knew her will remember her kindness, her sweet nature, and her remarkable cooking skills.... she was beautiful in every way.
She is survived by daughters, Jasenka and Dubravka; grandchildren, Adrianna, Kendyl, Garrett, Derrick, Shelby, Logan; and great granddaughter, Taylor. She was preceded in death by her son, Petar.
