I am thankful to have the privilege to be one of Tzuwang’s ex-classmates from NTU and UCLA, and to be in the same IC field for years. Tzuwang was kind and polite with unique characters. He was a man of principle and was willing to give others help whenever he could. I have been impressed by Tzuwang’s unique talents and devotion in his career. Tzuwang’s kindness, modesty, and smiles will be in my memory for a long long time … May Tzuwang rest in peace…##imported-begin##Yunti Wang##imported-end##
I first met Tzu-Wang in 1997 when I started working for Datapath. He was a highly regarded and capable engineer. I also remember his dry wit: He interviewed me for the job at Datapath. During the interview I asked him what he did for Datapath. He pulled out a stack of circuit schematic printouts the size of a phone book and pointed to it. Needless to say I had no further questions.##imported-begin##Shirish Altekar##imported-end##
I met Tzu-Wang over 25 years ago when we were grad students at UCLA. He was very smart and talented then, as he has proven time and again over the years. But I will remember him for his cool & calm demeanor, a person who is so sure of himself yet so humble and down-to-earth. I will remember him for his dry wit and sense of humor, for yes, he liked to laugh. Tzu-Wang, rest in peace. I’m going to miss you a lot.##imported-begin##Willen Lao##imported-end##
Tzu-wang was very nice to the junior engineers in DPS. I joined DPS as a new grad and knew nothing about design. I remembered working for Tzu-wang to design ECL circuits. No matter how careful I thought I did my work, Tzu-wang was always able to point out something I over-look. He was such a careful and talented engineer, who always willing to teach others. He didn’t say much words, but every word that come out of his mouth had some wisdom in it that led one to think deeper. Rest in peace and we’ll miss you.##imported-begin##Paul Lai##imported-end##
