Tran Nguu Truong's Obituary
With deep love and respect, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was born in China in 1924 and peacefully passed away in San Lorenzo, CA, on March 21, 2026.
She lived through great hardship and change. In the mid-twentieth century, she left her homeland to reunite with her husband, who had gone to Vietnam years earlier. Their reunion there was not the end of her journey; in time, she made a new home in the United States in the early 90s, where she continued to be the steady anchor for her children and descendants with the same devoted heart.
She devoted herself fully to her family. With her husband, she raised nine children, and her love widened into the next generations—seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, working tirelessly and putting their needs before her own. Her life was defined by patience, sacrifice, and quiet strength.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
