Tomasita Arambula Martinez's Obituary
Tomasita Arambula Martinez, aged 86, of San Mateo, CA, passed away on July 6th, 2021.
She was born on August 4, 1934, on her family ranch of San Antonio near the town of San José de Gracia, Jalisco, Mexico, and lived the past 57 years in San Mateo, CA. She was a loving wife to Ramon Martinez and mother of Lucy Castillo, Ramon Martinez, Lourdes Jones, and Ricardo Martinez. She also was the grandmother (Abuelita) of 14 and a great grandmother of one.
Tomasita was known as a loving, compassionate, and caring mom, wife, sister, godmother, and grandmother. She grew up being the oldest of nine siblings; she was a wonderful sister, aunt, and a true friend to many. Throughout her life she had numerous jobs but the job that she was most proud of was raising her four children who eventually had families of their own and promoted her to being a grandmother. Tomasita loved being the designated babysitter for her 14 grandchildren, spending time and cooking weekly Sunday dinners for the large Martinez family. She always made sure everyone had full stomachs and a full heart.
