Timothy McGrew's Obituary
Timothy McGrew age 59 of San Bruno died at Kaiser SSF on December 26, 2017 died from complications brought on from his battle with cancer. He was born October 1, 1958 in San Francisco to Ronald and Jelane McGrew. He attended and graduated El Camino High School and San Francisco State University. On September 11, 1982 he was married to Cynthia Perry. He grew up in Sunshine Gardens in South San Francisco and later moved to San Bruno. He was a blanket award winner at El Camino High School, played three sports (football, basketball, and baseball) for three years. He coached youth baseball and Joe DiMaggio for 42 years. He worked for Barri Electric in San Francisco for over 30 years. Tim is survived by his wife – Cindy McGrew, two sons – Mathew and Jerrod McGrew, two grandsons – Julian and Lucas McGrew, daughter-in-laws – Veronica McGrew and Brittany Santos, Mother – Jelane McGrew, sister – Terri Watson, brother-in-law – Tom Watson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father – Ronald McGrew.The Rosary Service will be held on January 2nd at 6:30pm at Mater Dolorosa Church in South San Francisco. The Funeral service will held on January 3rd at 11am at Skylawn Memorial Park off of Hwy 92 in San Mateo.In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society in Tim McGrew’s name (www.cancer.org)
