父親大人於農曆新年前夕安詳離世，隨侍在旁的我們雖然不捨，只能接受您個人的選擇，您和佛祖菩薩的約定。
您一生漂泊數處，截然不同的生活方式和文化，在您那個時代，甚至現在的我們都不是易事。雖然兵馬倥傯，政治紛亂非您能左右，但您選擇勇敢微笑以對，堅毅困苦帶我們走過；您沒有放棄生活，勇於承擔起責任，而且十分熱心助人，總是看您忙碌於街坊鄰居，為我們樹立了不少榜樣。
謝謝您辛苦的撫養教育我們，雖然不才，也總能憑著一雙好手好腳在社會裡立足。我們也知道惟有繼續努力奮鬥生活才是對您最好的回報，讓您不會為我們及母親憂心。
您篤信佛，一生隨著佛祖菩薩指引行事，成就您一生道業，願您莫忘初心，繼續隨著佛菩薩修行，除於此地的已壞色身應捨離外，更別忘那不壞的本心本性，到伽藍寺廟隨著師父修行做義工，目前在舊金山的金山聖寺，以及臺灣萬里的天祥寶塔都有您立名所在，願您蓮位高升，早登極樂。
A few days prior to the Lunar New Year, our beloved father departed from this world peacefully. Although we, who were by your side, feel deep sorrow, we can only accept your personal choice, the agreement you had with the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.
You lived a life of wandering, experiencing vastly different lifestyles and cultures. In your time, and even now, it was not an easy feat. Though politics and the chaos of war were beyond your control, you chose to face them with a brave smile. You endured hardship with resilience and led us through tough times. You
never gave up on life, took on responsibility, and were always eager to help others. We often saw you busy in the neighborhood, setting many examples for us.
Thank you for your hard work in raising and educating us. Although we may not be talented, we have always managed to stand firm in society through our own strength and determination. We also know that the best way to repay you is by continuing to strive and live our lives, so you won't have to worry about us or our mother.
You were a devout follower of Buddhism and lived your life according to the guidance of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, achieving great success in your spiritual practice. We hope you never forget your original intention and continue your practice with the Buddha and Bodhisattvas. While leaving behind the
broken physical body here, do not forget your unchanging original mind and nature. You are now named at the Buddha's Temple, where you volunteered and practiced under your master. You are also remembered at the Golden Mountain Temple in San Francisco and the Tianxiang Pagoda in Wanli, Taiwan. May you
ascend to a higher lotus seat and reach the Western Paradise swiftly.
