Thomas Charles Modena's Obituary
Thomas Charles Modena, lifetime member of the Half Moon Bay community passed away suddenly on June 21, 2026, at his home. He was born in Palo Alto, CA on January 12, 1939 and grew up on a ranch in San Gregorio, CA. Tommy loved his family more than anything and was so proud of them all. He was famous for his delicious spaghetti sauce, eggs and gravy on Christmas day and fried artichokes. Tom worked as a lineman for PG&E for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Frances Modena, Daughter Pam Davis and her husband John Davis, Daughter Linda Berger and her husband Alan Berger.

Micahel Davis and his wife Traci Davis. Shawn Davis and his wife Julie Davis. Cody Berger and his wife Nicole Berger. Carly Berger and Cassie Berger.
Great-Grandchildren:
Hunter Davis, Laurelai Berger, Easton Berger, Ryan Davis, Kanaan Berger, Savannah Davis, Owen Davis and Delaney Berger.
His Brothers:
Robert Modena and Raymond Modena and his wife Jeanette Modena
Preceded in death by:
Parents Paul and Sylvia Modena, Brother James Modena, and Granddaughter Brianne Berger
Services for Tom will be July 3,2026 at Skylawn Memorial Park. 888 Lifemark Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 Crystal Springs Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. The reception will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
