I’m so sorry to read of Tom’s passing. I last recall visiting Tom back in August of 2016, but there may have been one more visit after that I think. I was Tom’s computer tech since around 2005. I met him through another dear friend of his who also passed away some years earlier. I always looked forward to visits with Tom, as we both shared some common interests, ex Navy, and gem stones. His collection was amazing! I was shocked on my last visit when he presented me with a piece from his collection.My deepest sympathy to his family. I will always remember Tom as being a truly kind and respectful man, although often frustrated with his computer.

Tom was a really nice man. I met him when he had a studio at Twin Pines Manor in Belmont, CA where I had one as well. He was cheery and when he visited my studio, he brought the sunshine with him. He was always very supportive of my work and always eager to further mature his own. He was especially proud of his maritime pieces where the viewer could feel the energy of the ocean and vessel working in tandem. He was gracious and also, as mentioned in the obituary, very loyal. I saw that when he spoke about his close friends. He will be missed by those he shared his enthusiasm with. I’m just happy to have met him along our ways.
