Dr. Thomas H. Atkinson, 90, of Atherton, CA, died at the Palo Alto Veterans Administration Hospital on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.Thomas was born April 10, 1923 in Lark, Utah to Thomas and Duretta Atkinson. He married Marylouise D’Amico on Sept. 25, 1954.A graveside service for Thomas will be held on August 26, 2013, 11 a.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park.The family would like to thank the medical staff at Stanford Hospital and the VA Hospital and Hospice Unit for the kindness and respect given Tom.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located at 2155 Webster St, San Francisco, CA 94115.
